    • Frameworks from experts such as Dr. Peter Chee and Andy Lopata were introduced.

    • Leaders practiced through role plays active listening, asking powerful questions, and feedforward to empower team members and encourage accountability.

    • Leaders explored why traditional feedback often shuts people down.

    • The SBI Method (Situation–Behavior–Impact) was practiced in pairs and groups, helping participants reframe workplace feedback into constructive conversations that strengthen trust.

  3. Psychological Safety as the Foundation

    • Drawing from Google’s Project Aristotle, participants learned why psychological safety is the #1 driver of high-performing teams.

    • Leaders discussed barriers to openness and practiced creating environments where team members feel safe to share ideas and concerns without fear.

  4. Emotional Agility for Leaders

    • Leaders discovered how to notice emotions without being controlled by them.

    • Exercises helped them “step back to see the bigger picture” and choose responses aligned with long-term goals.

    • Role plays tested participants’ ability to stay grounded during high-stakes conversations.

  5. Integration Simulation

    • The day concluded with a full coaching sequence simulation.

    • Leaders practiced integrating coaching, feedback, and emotional agility in real-life scenarios, followed by group reflection on key takeaways.
