Solutions-Focused Coaching Find Your Path Forward. Live a Limitless Life.
When career success meets personal challenge—burnout, loss, addiction, life transition—Solutions-Focused Coaching empowers executives and leaders to rebuild, refocus, and thrive.
Counsellor, Psychotherapist (in training), and Executive & Life Coach
Nick works with adults who appear “high functioning” on the outside yet feel overwhelmed, isolated, burnt-out, or stuck on the inside. His work is deeply shaped by his own lived journey through burnout, addiction, and recovery, combined with more than two decades in senior leadership roles across Asia, Australia, and Europe. He has a particular heart for leaders, professionals, and their families who carry heavy responsibilities while quietly struggling with anxiety, depression, compulsive behaviours, or a loss of purpose.
Nick is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling at The School of Positive Psychology in Singapore, expanding his practice into deeper therapeutic work. A Certified Master Coach (CMC/CCMC) and ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), he integrates evidence-based coaching with clinical insight. His therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), 12-Step principles, and Sober Coaching, alongside humanistic, existential, and positive psychology frameworks. Every session is tailored to the client’s unique needs, pace, and preferences.
In the therapy room, Nick offers a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can slow down, be honest, and feel genuinely heard. He works collaboratively to understand current difficulties while exploring the deeper patterns, beliefs, and life experiences beneath them. Along with insight, he supports clients in building practical tools for everyday life—such as emotional regulation, boundary-setting, healthier routines, and more authentic ways of relating at home and at work. His holistic lens spans physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing, reflected in his 5 Steps to Holistic Leadership™ framework (Surrender, Purpose, Connection, Goals, Discipline).
Nick’s specialist interests include executive loneliness, burnout, anxiety, depression, addiction and relapse prevention, perfectionism, shame, life transitions, and relationship strain—particularly in the context of demanding careers. He is also the bestselling author ofExecutive Loneliness: The 5 Pathways to Overcoming Isolation, Stress, Anxiety & Depression in the Modern Business World, a #1 international bestseller that helped spark global conversations about mental health in leadership. The book has its own Wikipedia page dedicated to the impact of this work.
Alongside his therapeutic and coaching practice, Nick is an active member of the 12-Step recovery community. Having attended and supported more than 1,000 recovery meetings, he brings deep real-world insight into addiction, relapse prevention, and long-term recovery. He volunteers and fundraises for SOS Samaritans, contributes to suicide-prevention initiatives in Singapore, and leads a men’s support group—creating safe spaces where people can share openly and heal without judgment.
Nick offers sessions online in English (and Swedish by arrangement) and works with adult individuals both online and in person. Whether you are a senior leader, an entrepreneur, or someone who simply feels alone with your struggles, he welcomes you exactly as you are and walks alongside you toward greater clarity, resilience, and a more meaningful life.
